Me, and I love breaking in noobs at the sport.
I have a Sheridan XTS semi, a Spyder Pilot ACS, and a PMI pistol pump. The wife has a Tippman 98 but I never use it...
I mean, paintball is cool and all, but I've never actually DONE it because nobody wants to drop so much money. Airsoft is much less expensive, and you can do it in your backyard on your own and junk.
Airsoft isn't neccesarily less expensive, you just need to play pump or stock class in paintball to avoid astronomical paint costs. And while it's true you can play in your backyard, you shouldn't for the safety of bystanders and others.
Life is like a box of chocolates. It sucks unless you spend a lot of money.
I play I just traded my 05 Ego (broken solenoid) for an 06 Evil Minion w/ UL frame. I also just bought a Halo B w/ Rip drive for only $30 . I also have a few spyders, a 98 custom, an ACI maverick (pump), an autococker trilogy sport, and an Ion. As you can all see I love paintball.
I used to play like 8 years ago. I was tourney grade at it too. Then I gave up the sport, because my g/f said it was "too dangerous". I gave it up for her and regret it now that she left. lol. /True story
I play ever so often. I got myself a tippmann a-5, soon to have an q-loader loading system. Its awesome. Its sick when you play and dodge a paintball like right before in hits you. excilerating sport. Has anyone had like a Wanted style showdown in a match; where your enemy is standing a few feet from you and the fire and you fire and the paintballs collide in mid-air and splatter out to the sides. Its awesome
Airsoft is fun, but I dont know many who own guns. Atleast people that I wouldnt mind plinking with. Got a taurus PT99 semi/full auto pistol(co2), p90(electric), 9mm(electric), ppk(spring), uzi (Spring, really crappy). If a fun game if you have the peopl to play with.
I used to have a 98 custum, and after 2 years of play I deemed it to be furthermore useless... So, I got a smart parts sp-1, with a 16" progressive barrel, Halo Frontman e-hopper, and a CAR stock.
