Ps2 Laptop

Post by jakhazell »

Hey, Ive been wanting to make a portable console for a while now and my Ps2 has just been collecting dust. A little while back i found a Sony Vaio on the side of the road and thought it would be realy cool to put a Ps2 in it. Would it be possible to wire the the Vaio's LCD screen to the PS2.
Thanks

No, it would not be possible. Laptop screens do not accept the kind of video signal that videogame systems output, so without a large, expensive, and custom-built converter it would not work.

Exactly what I was thinking.. Hey ya know your neighbors' house doesn't count as 'the side of the road' right?

Hmmmm, What if I got a similar sized LCD and put it in the place of the original? And yea it was on the side of the road with an Acer Travelmate or somthing but everythings been stripped, all thats left of the internals is the motherboard.

If you could find an LCD that accepts analog video and get it as thin and the screen part of a laptop, then that's possible. I just don't see you doing it.

How do i get my laptop to connect to my wireless network? I've recently recieved a new laptop from work. I work from home sometimes and need to connect to the internet. My laptop shows that I'm connected to the internet, however I can't get any pages to download. I've disabled the firewalls on the computers, but to no avail. My old laptop, I just plugged in wireless card and it connected fine. With the new laptop, It won't. What am i missing? Thanks!
