IN FREAKIN CREDIBLE!!!! SOLVED pi*ng me off need a solution

Just picked up a bargain:
PSP slim (Gc, warranty sticky unharmed) with ac adapter, battery -$30

catch
when turning the PSP on i get a black screen but I can hear the startup sounds/navigate the vsh menu and the backlight works. but no picture. Ive reinstalled CFW 3.80m33 but i still get no picture.

any ideas?

okay....so i toyed around with the PSP, checked for visible damage but then ran out of time to dismantle so i left to see X-Men origins and left it off charging the battery that came with it, came home two hours later (roughly) turned it on..and... worked fine, no problems what so ever....all for $30...im a happy man!!!!

I've never switched from 3.80 M33, it's still my favorite . It has the best version of applecor and it's extremely reliable.

ya psp is pretty cool im posting from one now. the screen was bad (colors were inverted) so I got it for free. one new screen later and its good as new (once I fix the gittery analog lol)

sorry for triple posting but the screen did its thing again:
so i surmised thats its obviously not software just hardware, all I did was remove the battery and ac adapter hold the power button for three minutes, give it a light tap and then turn it back on, problem solved.

Well you could just get the new CFW and the new Popsloader.

It has all the pops 4.01 and lower.

3.80 POPs fails with Chrono Cross, it does not work right at all. 3.90 was a bit better, but 5.0 blew me away, works SO much better.

But yeah, use popsloader.

tru dat. Not all games, but by far the best ... I still remember the day that 3.4 OE came out... probably my second favorite firmware so far.
