Really Wierd

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Sound like your backlight blew, time to do the LED mod on the screen. The noise in the sound is probably caused by the transformer for the cold-cathode back light.

There is like no light that comes from the screen itself, it is all from the backlight.

Just do the PoD LED mod. It's cheap and easy.
