Analog stick on a gameboy?

Is it possible to use an analog or C-stick instead of a D-pad for a GBA?

Yeah, I want to put a psp joystick instead of my crappy ds lite dpad. It's nearly impossible to play the hard parts of super mario 64 ds.

An analogue stick will be WORSE. You will still have digital control, but it will be less intuitive and harder to use.

No, you can't. Ben made that for using a new analog, the PSP stick will not just work automagically on a digital d-pad.

i guess ill go with a gamecube analog stick then.
Is there any store that sells only the analog stick or do i have to buy another controller?

just ask around for some broken ps2/gc controllers. somebody is bound to have one.
