Powering a 12 volt xbox screen?

I am making a portable, but need a way to have 12 volts for my screen.I have many, many battery packs from rc cars (7.2+) and need a guide for this.Any help is great, and also if you really need pictures, I will provide.

There will be a 7808 inside use that with 7.2 not 12

I must sound really stupid, but what is the 7808? I am a bit confused after my last catastrophy with my last screen hack.

Those two black things with holes in them both take inputs of 12 and drop them to 5
So you can just attach 7.2 in them, on one of the outside pins

But your picture is terrible, I need a birds eye picture of the whole board with good lighting
It is very hard to depict that picture

Sorry, didn't want to dig for camera. I will get better pics tommow. It has huge speakers( 3 or 4 inch) and has 3 seperate boards. It is coming out good, but im useing a dc power pack. Show you tommow.

btw, what is a good game system with a small mobo?

A 7808 is a step down DC-DC voltage regulator. It turns the voltage you put in (12-36?) to 8v, and turns the rest of the energy into heat. If you can regulate an 8v power source, you can use that and bypass the 12v entirely.
