just bought 3 naked snes consoles for less than 8$

Do you have a technical question that doesn't really fit a specific console? Want some general info on electronics, hacking, making cookies, etc? Here's the place to ask! Go nuts.

Hello, I have 3 snes units (very, very hard to find in my country) without controllers and AC adapters and no carts (also very hard to find). So i`ve tried them with bench power supply, the led goes on and the voltage regulator is giving good 5.06 volts, so I guess they are working.... Can anyone provide me some good web page that is selling snes cartridges or even programmable carts.... I will make my own controllers, it`s pretty cheap and easy.... And one simple question - is there any screen on TV when snes is powered on without cartridge, I want to be 100% sure that they are working....

actually if you stop by some game crazy/HollyWood Video stores you might get lucky. Gamestop stays with the times and got rid of all their old cartridges in my town but gamecrazy will try to sell everything they have. Well at least from my experience.

I miss Starland. THAT was like an old-school gamer's heaven.
