GBA for NES portable case?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

GBA for NES portable case?

Post by SuperDuperMan »

I've heard of people using other portables for cases (Sega Nomad, Gameboy) does anybody think that a NES could fit in a GBA?

I say it's possible, but it'd be tough. You couldn't use the screen that comes with it and you'd definitely need an noac. Why? You wanna make one? :)

Have to be a NOAC, with its limited supply of games included. You also need to change the screen as the GBA one will not be compatible. If you can find a suitably sized screen with a small mobo, then yes, it could be done, but probably isn't worth the effort.

I dunno, I just came up with the idea yesterday. Now, I'm not sure if it could be done.

or you just buy some NES classics for your working GBA and play some awesome classic NES games.

There's nothing wrong with asking.

To be honest, I'm just new to this, am currently considering two projects. A portable snes and a nes PC. PC is easy, but the SNES will be more of a challenge. I hope to learn while I'm here though. Sorry I couldn't be more help, I'm sure someone can answer your question.

Why do you post? If you don't have anything to say, stop wasting my time please. It's nothing against you, I just don't like it when people only post useless stuff with no contributions. Reading is fine, don't feel obligated to contribute because you've done so.

As for the GBA: I really don't think it would fit. It might, but it'd be extremely tight. Try modelling the parts in 3d and see if they'll fit!

If anyone wants, I have an educational license for Solid Edge V20. PM after you download SEdge 20.
