Ms. Pack-Man Handheld

Post by XBrav »

Hello all,

Was at the ol' Futureshop in my area, and they had these guys on for $4.97:

I swear this little thing works quite nicely. Anywho, opened it up and found two chips on the board. I'll post photos as I get them, but to the best of your knowledge, are these guys running on NOACs? If so, I would consider making this little $*%# a dual handheld.

Even if it isn't, I figure I could mount this lovely 8" screen onto the back of the unit.
You say it can't be done. I'll damn well show you it can...

Just may not be cheap. Or practical.

Most definitely not a NOAC. These games are arcade accurate, a NES can't pull that off. I've heard on another forum that these use an embedded system on a chip that is designed specifically for these types of uses.

These games are arcade games and do play like the arcade versions. The joysticks are crap, however you can easily put multiple plug'n'play's into a system (I intend to do this on my project, I have a few of them!) and alternate between them by switches.

Go to car boot sales and you get them very cheaply!
