Games N Music Homebrew (new question)

Post by jedi knight »

Well I was at Walmart today and I saw the Games and Music homebrew device for $20. I picked it up immediately. I brought it home and loaded up emulators onto my 1gb Sandisk microsd card. The emulator would start up but it wouldn't play a game. So then I put the files on the crummy 128mb card that came with the adapter. It worked flawlessly. Then I tried the games that came on an included cd on my 1gb card, and they worked. Does anyone know why my emulators aren't working? I hope that what I wrote is understandable.

@Ganonbanned
Yeah I was surprised too.

@Benol
I was thinking something along the lines of that might be the problem.

It's called the DS Games N Music. It's made by Datel and was meant to be a mass market homebrew device.

I don't think there is. And it is rather easy to use, but not quite drag and drop.

I found the problem, or rather someone told me the problem :P . I was using the wrong version of the DLDI patcher. The one I was using had very little sd card compatibility.

I'm pretty sure its homebrew only. If you want to play "Backups" get a R4.

No I haven't tried playing "backups" because I think it is homebrew only.

Can anyone recommend me some good homebrew games? I currently have

*Wolfenstien 3d
*Quake DS (as soon as I buy the game)
*DSDoom (same as Quake)
*DSOrganize
*SnemulDS
*Picodrive
*Tales of Dagur
*Lameboy

Anyone know some other good games/emulators?

I meant to type PicoDrive, which is a Genesis Emulator. I am trying to get an NES emu to work as I speak.
