I've got a PAL Wii, and I need to know how to mod a cable to get VGA, for a planned project, and so I can use it with a LCD monitor here.
Or at least, pinouts to create a Wii VGA cable.
Does anyone have any info on this?
How to do PAL Wii VGA?

OK, I'll search next time - was just a bit lazy when I made the topic, is all
But does anyone know how with the Wii plug, without taking apart the Wii itself, to get HSync and VSync? Or if VGA can work with only R,G,B and ground? I don't really want to damage anything, I'm really strapped for cash just now.

This uses a YPbPr output rather then RGB, but the concept is the same. Although the actual paper refers to the xbox the YPbPr is a standard sort of connection, so it will work just as well on a wii. Plus, You'll learn a bit about op-amps!
Fun for the whole family. I'm actually thinking of making one of these with standard coax connections on one side and vga on the other, so I can hook all sorts of things up (like my dvd player, for example)
