The forums are unbearably slow. Ben, what happened? I know you're probably doing the best you can, but could you fill us in please?
Anyone else have an idea?

Wasn't working for me until the last hours - was off for over a day. I was pining for the site (I had lots of updates on my N64p/GBA project to post). Back up now, horray!

Most of yesterday, for anybody 64k internet(like me
) is was very slow. It was like as slow as a snail moving against a 100mph wind gusts
. But today it was back to normal for me
.

It was slow because links to Ben's site ended up on the site digg. That often ends up in sites going completely down.
I can't really complain though. Its not like we pay to use the forums.

It seems to be the past few days. Maybe just some server trouble, Perhaps Ben could shed some light on this?

The newb says it was on digg again.
And we do pay to use the forums, just not in cash. The community draws others here, thus to the attention of Ben's work, thus making him more profit had us not been here. Also, there are ads for us to click when we're bored!

It always takes forever to log in, then its ok...but still slow.
(I click the ads...it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Like I'm giving a gift. It's awesome!)

Just as you said that I have realised that the ads up the top are missing

Doesn't ask me to enter my data. It did the first time but it doesn't anymore
Try clearing your Private Data, that usually works for me.
