Id like to know how to make a mini portable ps2 need help :)

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

well first things first, grammar...all right you're 13 but still , good grammar is the key to forum communication

ok, to start with a ps2p is kind of a first class ticket to dream crushing soo i just suggest that you start with something more simple or do research, LOTS AND LOTS OF RESEARCH...

but anyways, good luck...

Excellent!

My advice is to read, read, read! Go back three or four pages or more and find any and all threads that could possibly relate to what you want to do. Write down the info you need for future reference, and bookmark any diagrams you come across. It might take a couple of weeks to round up the info you need, but it will serve you much better if you do the research yourself so if you run into a complication, you know where to search for an answer or if that problem's been solved before.

My advise would be read many things, but buy Bens book for sure, start with either a SNES portable or a PSOne portable unless you want "SOUL CRUSHING MADNESS THAT MAKES YOU WRITHE IN PAIN FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, CRYING IN THE AGONY OF YOUR HORRIBLE MONEY LOSS AND FAILURE!" Lol - No offense no one can start with a ps2.

Also whatever system you end up doing, make sure to practice soldering, and also print out the pin outs for when you do the screen hookup so you don't need to run back and forth.. Well thats about all I can say on that.

Oh and not that big of a deal, but it seams like no matter what age you are if you capitalize things that need it like I, and I'm people will help more, because it's easier to read. And remember If you saying it's it only needs the ' if your saying it is.. Last thing was a random thing lol... But don't even get me started on my grammar at 13... I was like

 Z0MG IMZ G0N4 4KES ER PS11 PORTABLE!!!!shift!111one!one111shift!11

Well anyways I wish you the best of luck, and welcome you to the community! :D

Nope just PSOne, but believe me I would start with a SNES portable, because I only give you a %1 chance of finishing a ps2 portable that works, I don't want to sound rude but it's not something to start with, either do a PSOne or SNES portable, you *WON'T* regret it.

Hope I don't seem rude were I only gave you a %1 chance of finishing without breaking it.

You don't even have to do a project from the book - the tips on how to solder and the explanation of how a multimeter works and such are enough to justify buying it.

Yeah, there's definitely enough information just on this website for anyone to make a NESp, VCSP, SNESP, or PSoneP, but Ben's book also covers many things that you might not realize along the way such as different video plugs, etc. It really is all essential information.
