I hate Vista
Ok, I got a Computer from my brother in law that he used to Install vista on it. He gave me the computer and everything was going fine till last night when I started to get errors. Windows would pop up with messages for anti-spyware and I would get bubbles saying I have spyware.
This morning I go to turn it on, and it wont connect to the internet. At all. MSN says I have a invalid IP and Firefox is missing a DLL file.
I have connected my old DELL (Corperate Model) to the internet so I know that the Internet is not down.
Your thoughts?

Dump Windows OSXP and install XP again. Vista is still only half baked, and aside from all the shine it might as well be XP SP3. If you can't do that, then get some Linux distro on it just to dink around with.
Fun fact: According to Network World magazine, there are more people that are still using 98 than Vista users.

I would just dual boot with XP. Don't get rid of Vista if you already have it. You'll just have to buy it again in a few years when Microsoft stops supporting XP and new programs are no longer compatible with XP... you know it'll happen.
It did with 98... *hugs his current computer running 98* I love 98...

Just get a mac (or hackintosh, for legal resons not alowed on this site) they never get anything!
To prove it to one of my friends, I turened of the firewall, and all protection, downloaded a whole lot off cooky programs, ran em. And hey presto! Nothing new on this mac. And if you really want to, you can run this inferior operating system *cough* copyed *cough* called windows! or tri boot if you wish with linux!
Macs are overall btter.
