NES 72 pin connector

Could you cut 2 original 72 pin connectors in half and combine their bottom sides? I've heard that the part of the connector that attaches to the NES board is more reliable in picking up the game signal. 8) Basically, is it possible? Is it worth it? Is it fact? I appreciate any responses in advance.

it's probably possible but probably not worth it.
youd have to buy two cartridge thingys
then you'd put them together
for a small amount of increasingness
yes i just made up that word
