OK look i know it sounds stupid, but think. if the AA batteries are 1.2 volt, and cr2032 are 3 volt, so it should take less.

Yeah, but they have virtually no amp-hours, therefore it would take a bunch. Highly impractical.

An amp hour determines how long a battery will last. A typical rechargable NIMH AA battery has about 2.5Ah(amp-hours), whereas a CR2032 has .230 Ah, at least this one does.

Therefore, in order to get the same amount of play time out of CR2032's as four AAs, you'd need about 20 of them. Also, they are not rechargable and NIMH AAs are.

Just stick with AA's.

Ohhhhh Well my idea of a NESMU failed just a short while after it began, but it is a awsome failure for sure. I'll probobly make a AA version, version then.

That was a totally useful post.

You could use coin batteries, but you'd need to use at least 6-10 of them. Even then, you'd get an hour of life.

An hour is crap. How would you like it when your nes cuts off when you are o the last level of some game or something? AAs are better, rechargable, and you wouldn't need as many.

Ya, I'd definitely go with AA's, no reason in using coins.
