How not to break you're TV with the Wiimote!

Here is what I have thought of so far!

1:Place a piece of acrylic glass over you're TV screen!

2:Get a glove and glue the palm of it to the Wiimote and wear to glove so the Wiimote wont fly out of you're hand!

3:Thats it no more ideas... No I dont have a Wii...

DONT SWING SO HARD YA FRIGGEN MORON! control yourselves people! you dont need to belt your controller at a thousand miles an hour to bowl a strike, trust me. my mom, my sisters friend my sister and several other members of my family and other people have played wii sports, my mom and sisters friend have played over TEN HOURS total on the various games, i personally have played a few hours on wii sports and almost thirty on zelda, we really get into the bowling and tennis but so far (SHOCKINGLY) nobody has let fly of the remote, and my flimsy little strap has yet to break, im all for playing the game with all the motions but honestly YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IT SO HARD!

Try Re-enforcing the strap with the handy mans secret weapon (duct-tape).

Or just duct tape the controller to your hands while you're at it :P

The problem can be easily avoided via velcro.

this problem can also be avoided via not being a complete spaz.

If you glue a glove to the controller, you'd be inable to use it during NES(FC)/Gen(MD)/TG16 emulation, plus any software that involves holding the controller other than the standard vertical position. Or at least it'd be uncomfortable...

I'm with Triton on this one.

Don't stand so close when playing Wii boxing either or you will KO your TV.

4. Don't buy a Wii. :P

I didn't, and my TV is thankful! (Nor am I buying a PS3 or a 360. I'm just not interested. :| So DON'T call me a fanboy, or a "hater" or whatever.)

5. Use a CRT TV

You know, one of those big TVs that have a half inch of solid GLASS? Not these cheaply made plasma deals. Granted, any sort of flat panel is fragile, but CRTs are always better. (The only advantage flat panels have is their thin size. They screw up colors and break if you look at them funny.)

Yes, simply don't go crazy playing the Wii and preferably use a CRT screen if you DO play it crazily. Seriously, if I had a huge, expensive HDTV with barely anything protecting it, the last thing I'd do is start swinging stuff as hard as I could at it . *sigh*, people <s>these days</s>....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

You know I just saw a gift given that would be a perfect item to thave so you don't throw your Wii-mote at the TV screen. It's all the "Bad Call Brick" it's a foam brick that you can throw at the screen during sports game, but have one modeled after the Wii-mote and you can chuck that at the screen when you get mad. Better then braking a $50 game pad, right?
