Were did it all begin?
A question that has plauged man since the dawn of time, "When and where did it all begin?" Was it a Big Bang? Were we once monkeys or did we evolve from bactiria? Personally I'm a Christian but, because I am, don't be scared to voice your epinion if you are not. I will not force my religion on you. Yor epinion is something that can never be wrong. If you are Athiest I won't scream at you and tell you are wrong, I just want to start a discussion. I know this is a very controversial subject, so, if you post under this topic please be respectful. So, what do you think?

Hey heres an idea what what if each galaxsy in the universe were accually just a different version of the Milky Way? One were that tenth planet didnt hit first Earth so humanity doesnt exsist or one were Hitler won the war. Its not a completely new universe just a new or different galaxsy.

are you talking about a the theory where for every discion you make the universe splits. So there is an alternate universe where i decided not to post this, or an alternate universe where i decided not to joing the forum.

what sparkfist is talkin about i think is the idea of the multiverse, or the theory that there is an infinite number of universes either nearly identically or wildly different from our own. this also has to do with time travel in a way, but that it kinda hard to explain IM me or whatever if anyone wants to talk about this on aim or msn messenger. my aim is triton199b

lol, Ive read about 6 diferent comic books where this happens. Its an interesting idea though. Those stars have to be something right?what sparkfist is talkin about i think is the idea of the multiverse, or the theory that there is an infinite number of universes either nearly identically or wildly different from our own.
*thinking to myself: should I write this? Oh, hell nobody really reads my post anyways!*
The big bang theory, what a load. If anybody had studied chemistry enough they would know that earth could not just happen in a big bang and be so perfect for supporting human life. Another problem is how did the matter get there in the first place?
And in evolution, we evolved right? Well, why dont we see people who are partially evolved? Or any signs of evolution happening at all anymore? And the earth is not billions of years old, its only about 7000 years old! (really!)
If you do enough research you will find all sorts of stuff that is being taught in schools is not real truth at all, just a theory (and yet they dont teach creation as a possible theory at all). This is one reason why I am homeschooled
One great source is www.answersingenesis.org ,they completely discredit false theorys. I really recommend checkin it out even though it looks very boring.
Hmm... No offence but I personally hate creationism, or the even crappier Intelligent Design. I believe fully in evolution, and I feel the church, or any religion for that matter has any place in science.
As for the age of the earth, its deffinatly more than 7000 years old...

Also, on a less political note: did you get the gmail invite I sent you?

The billions of years thing came from dating rocks through methods that are very inaccurate.
But hey man to each his own. I just had to put what my feelings on evolution are.
