Two popular shows returning Oct 4th, discuss what happens!

Post by benheck »

Two popular shows, and also about the only 2 programs I bother to watch on TV (besides MYTHBUSTERS) are coming back and on the same day! Lost and South Park.

I rather enjoy Lost (despite my camping story) and recently watched Season 1 on DVD. Thought it was a might better than Season 2, what do you people think? Personally I think Season 3 will go downhill and into looney land, thus they'll have to save face and actually end it with Season 4. As long as Locke's not dead I'll keep watching. You?

Seasons 7-9 of South Park were great, best ever. But the first half of Season 10 (seen this spring) was a little lacking. The spoof of Family Guy was dead on though, apparently the writers of The Simpsons and King of the Hill sent Matt and Trey flowers after seeing it. Without getting political, which recent events in the world might make good Season 10 Part 2 fodder?

I think that Locke will have ironically have had his legs blown off, and it will be Eko that carried him out of the destruction.

A good South Park might include something about Steve Irwin's death. like, he was trying to save the world from whatever evil race is attacking, or he comes back to life or something... Something dedicated to him in some way.

If you're looking at this post and it was made before 2008, just ignore it.

Because Ben added some commentary about the subject at hand. All you said was:

That's why.

Honestly I've never really watched Lost. South Park has really slid downhill in the last couple seasons; I stopped really watching it when they killed Chef. (If they really wanted to they could have kept him as a background character, using old clips for the voice as they did in the last Chef episode...)

Yes but all he said was basically the same as mine .. I strongly implied that I was exited about it and I would have like to see the views of others, which would have taken intrest if it wasnt blocked.

Lost is great, Season 2 only ended 4 days ago over here

The last episode annoyed me, i was hoping for answers and closure, but no...

then again what did i expect, everytime it answers one question it leaves you asking 3 more

Its too good for its own good, so much so that it annoys me cos i want to know what happens next

i hope Eko and his jesus stick survive

I've caught a few episodes of Lost, but i never really went into it.

I'm a huge South Park fan. I thought season 8 was pure gold, but 9, while good, just didn't seem as memorable to me. Season 10 is finally going to air on the Comedy Network(Canadian Network) on October 20th, so I guess it'll be another year before I get to see season 11(unless I download it, but I hate my computer).

Sort of a side thing, but has anyone else seen that the South Park DVD's have dropped in price(seasons 1 -5). The first 5 seasons are only 36 CND each, which is pretty nice for a 3 DVD set.

Also here is the season 11 preview http://media.southparkstudios.com/downl ... PinWoW.avi
SNESp - 100%
Protable X - 15% - I need money :(

non-existant. No, really, I do not like that show. It goes a little too far for my own personal liking.

I love South Park, but I can't sit down and watch a marathon, because the humor gets a little old after while (I still think it's gold, though)
