N64 Status

I've managed to get my psone screen hooked up and in position

Had a little scare where I was getting no video after hours of troubleshooting with a multimeter everything looked like it should be working.

As a least resort I resoldered then wires even though they looked perfect but I attached from the other side of the board and it worked fine

QUESTION

Can I salvage some parts from the PSU to make the 3.3v line?

I have a 7805 that is capable of diffrent voltages according to the datasheet

Although when using it to drop7.2v to 5v the damn thing was cooking

Anyone in the UK with a T.I converter hanging around?
