Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft VS The World
It's obvious that all companies sell thier wares to make the green paper that makes the world go round. however, in the case of video games, some people may be critical of strategies made by those companies to get thier hard earned dough. Case in point, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3. Are all the systems better in some way, or are they all the same? If you believe a company "suxxorz," can you make a sufficient aregument against it? and, also, have you ever considered the positive factors? take a moment to ponder that, and, when you have composed a message concerning he subject, post it here. The only rule, NO POSTS are allowed to contain the words "suxxorz," "sucks," "awesome," "roolz," or any text in that vein condoning that you have less or equal IQ than the common fanboy. http://www.netjak.com/review.php/1013[/url].
All my ideas are genius. Don't even try to comprehend my superior logic.

If a game is fun, I like to play it. If a console seems to have games I want to play more than another, my choice is simple. I am not a system fanboy, though I recognize accomplishments and disappointments of each company, and I cite specific instances rather than just diss or give props to a company as a whole.
If I have a concern (which is more likely to be game or console specific), I give a specific reason, such as "I saw some glitches in the E3 videos of when the PS3 was drawing frames with lots of movement, and will keep an eye open to see if they remain on launch day." rather than that I dislike the system. It has potential, but it also has specific things that need fixed.
As such, though I speculate on a game console that has yet to be released, especially when I have specs and specifics, I reserve final jugdement until I've played the system. I can't say anything definite about the next generation consoles, as I haven't played any of them.

Guys I've said it once and I'll say it again. Only one of those consoles has been released, so really a comparison of them is at this time impossible. If one of you acttually went to E3 and played all three, then you have the experiance and knowledge to make a statement. All other's are opinion.
As if you are talking about the User Interface. Sonly made a good choice in changing the controller, that D-pad sucks. About the Wii's controller, we need to see a game that will actually make full use of it's ablities. The Xbox360 did get the upgrade a much needed upgrade, as the Xbox's UI really was very behind in options and design for what it was.

I'll just lay down my 2 cents:
PS3: Lot of potential if Sony really makes it worth the $500
Xbox 360: First released, really buggy, Microsoft is fixing problems, good games and more to come
Wii (aka Revolution): Interesting gameplay design, cheapest, will have good Nintendo games and can play older games from past systems

I think there was no better time for a hard core gamer to be alive with these 3 very different consoles coming out to match each person's individual tastes.
Think about it why would you buy a genesis instead of a SNES when they were new? Because you liked black better than gray? You believed the "burst processing" or "emotion engine" or whatever crap the marketing department had come up with that week? These consoles were nearly identical in price and raw power, so all it pretty much boiled down to was fanboyism to decide which one to buy (I was guilty of this).
Now here it is 10 years later and we have 3 very different consoles marketed to 3 very different sub-groups of gamers. We have the "techno wonder" "better have money or at least want people to think you do" PS3, the "friendly to everyone" "bargain priced" Wii and the "I came to the party early, is that a problem?" "ZOMG HALO ROXXORS" Xbox 360 connected to the new and improved popular Xbox live.
I think the best part of these new consoles is that I can pick up used games off of ebay even cheaper than before.

Rules? I don't listen to made-up, unofficial rules.
"suxxorz," "sucks," "awesome," "roolz," aren't allowed?
The PS3's controller suxxors, the price sucks, the graphics are awesome, and their arrogance roolz.
Changing batteries on a 360 controller suxxors, 360 game pricing sucks, the systems design is awesome, and the spring dashboard update roolz.
The Wii's sensor bar suxxors, the name no longer sucks, the games are gonna be awesome, and it just plain roolz.
