Just use a TV for the screen. Like, a bulky CRT screen. Or a computer monitor if you can convert the composite, S-Video, or RGB (whatever it outputs, preferably RGB) into VGA.

I may be able to ask my cousin. He's been doing this stuff for a living for his whole life, and he's pretty damn good at it! If you go into most arcades in the U.S., I guarantee he's made at least one of them. And has anyone ever played the original Star Wars Pinball game? Well, he made most of those machines, back in the day. He was good friends with the programmer, so when it asks "Who was the actor who played Chewbacca?", the wrong answer is my cousin! Anyways, he knows this stuff like the back of his hand so I may be able to give him a call, if he can find his phone under all those Atari and Namcot motherboards!

Ok... why don't you just build a custom? I do my cabs by my own measurements, it's easier.

I've been a member on forum.arcadecontrols.com for about a year now...spystyle's tuts are good, but you can also get exact plans for the cabinets at www.jakobud.com if it's still up.

another suggestion would be to take an existing cabinet and refurbish it. Put up an ad on craig's list to see what others have, and even check your phone book for arcade dealers. I found a guy that sold me a cabinet for $100 with that method.
