Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Portable DC with ethernet adapter?

Post by Hso »

I'm curious.. how many people have successfully made a portable DC, and have a working broadband adapter in it, for online use? anyone?
ofcourse though.. a broadband adapter and a vga socket... that would make it a nice little portable pc, right there :D

first off broadband adapters for the dreamcast cost upwards of $150 so they won't be portablizing it, and for all I know dkap01 is the only successful maker of a DCP (I apologize if I forgot anyone who did make one, I haven't been here for a while).

so no one has

First I want to support what you said first, you are correct. Second is if you count Cennar and Atkafighter's Treamcast-like portables, it's three. However non of them had made any modifications, or never spoke of any, to the modem/adapter.

hi hi,
You know the v 3 cd thing for dreamcast only comes with flash 4!
Is there anyway to upgrade, like download on the internet?
edit: if you can do the above, could you also download that other thingy... shockwave?
The reason why I'm wondering is because I'm not sure if you can download things... or if you have to use a memory card.
