can i make a game gear into a NES portabol?

I have a game gear the stuff infront of the screen is scratched badly tho but i t can be removed right?

can i turn it into a NESp?

Yes, but that would involve removing the original internal components and replacing them with parts for the NES and such. Someone made a guide for putting an NOAC inside a GameGear using some of Ladyada's instructions, I can't imagine that it would be much more difficult to add a cartslot...
