Wal-Mart in my town has the Mt. Dew and Pepsi 12-packs for $3.50. They were priced on the shelf at $4.78 so I only grabbed one, but at the register it rang up for $3.50.

That's not bad!

Is that for the Throwback sodas, or the regular ones?

The Throwback's. Sorry, I just figured it would be assumed that's what I meant since it's what the thread is about. Then again, you can't assume anything these days...

Or beer. I think about 60% of what I drink in a day is beer.

Dr. Pepper, Milk, Tea (non-sugar, black), and Beer. Depending on the day Beer may take up the largest intake.

We have these cool "tall boy" soda cans over here in Japan. They're 500ml, and generally cost between 100~130yen (around a $ or so) depending on which vending machine. The taste is also a lot different for soda here. I was told it was because they use real sugar, but i'm not sure.

Wow, cheap and good. The stuff we get in Canada doesn't say it has high fructose corn syrup in it, but it might be just that our laws on marking food are looser.

Actually, I found out that we DO have HFCS in our drinks here. The standards are lax enough that they can simply call it glucose-fructose.

I finally found a place selling the Throwbacks around here and tried some Mountain Dew. I definitely like it better than regular Mountain Dew, I'll have to pick some more up now before it's gone.
