alright...OK. I...Have reasoned with myself.
after long discussion with Spongebuel, the best mod ever (besides triton),
he had said it was perfectly alright to post a handbuilt NESp in this thread and get the title portabilizer.

weeeelllll...here you go-

NOTE- the other strip of aluminum is off because I think it looks cool without it.

OK...do I get portabilizer now?

That hardly qualifies then if he bought the case.. Anyone can buy the case and stuff parts inside it with instructions.

We may aswell give "Wardrobe builder" status to anyone who has assembled a wardrobe out of flatpack. It kinda demeans the portablizer status if you get what I mean.

I see that phase one has been implemented to at least some extent. Is there any plan for... phase two?

we can give all the spammers titles that say "spammer" :P

Well, even if he bought the case, as long as it is portable and can play games, it qualifies as a portable. It does work, right Retromaster? You can't tell from the pics.

what are you guys saying? I built the friggin case.
it doesn't work, but I know what the problem is, and I have a new screen coming for it. so it should be classified as a portable.
spongebuel says this is ok.

Skyone, where the did you get that I bought the case? did you even read bens book? I made it with engraving plastic, 1/16 inch aluminum strips, glue, thermal printed decals from a sign shop, size 6 screws, x-acto knives, and spacers. I built it.

at least give me modder, as I did a pretty good job on this thing.
the only reason it probably wont be considered portable is because it has a bad screen. I am getting a new one.

No, actually, I didn't READ Ben's book. Since you actually made it, it does look nice, almost identical to Ben's.

Yes it does look quite a bit like Ben's Hand built NES case. Like the one here. However there is a big difference between them, namely the walls, the start/select buttons. Unless someone can give me a damn good reason not to give Retromaster a "portablizer" title they have 24 hours, use the PM system.

yeah... the walls are the the biggest difference. I left the other off because it looks cool without it. I like seeing wires and stuff. think of it as a custom mod. several things inside it are different from the design because custom is better. I dont know about the select buttons....
