...Why? Logic says that he would want to show it off with a good game.

I have a small selection of PS1 games. So... I'm not one to ask for it.

I'm with Sun-Wukong just because I'd vote anything to avoid a great system be unveiled with a sports game...

It's good work on the inside. I'm sure it'll look good on the out, as well.

EDIT: Scratch that. FFVII FTW! I'm with mdp872105.
Please keep an eye on my HBN64 progress.

Not decided which game yet, won't be a sports game; I have about 200 PS1 games; might do something like Blasto! or Medieval 2, Ape Escape, 40 Winks, (or a big choice of others). Will probably go for something wacky, colourful, fun and a bit unusual. May choose two titles, one to start the system off, and another one to show changing a CD and rebooting to a second one - so first one will be flashy and wacky and quick to load (no text to wade through, etc), the second one will need to have a title screen that starts quite quickly (preferably no company logo screens, straight to game title), has impact visually, and also sound.

Something like Spyro (colorful, quickly loads depending on the level you play.), than Medal of Honor (Has that fancy intro video.)

In that case, Parappa the Rapper, then Metal Gear Solid.

I totally vote for either one of the Spyro games, or more betterly(what, it sounds good!) Ape Escape! Those are both awesome games, bright, colorful, not a lot of crap to wade through at the beginning, and awesome!

Not your fault. This always happens when the board is so slow. You press submit a bunch of times and suddenly you made 5 posts

Did this in about an hour, as I know what I am doing now: got the other joystick done; again, secured by screws in place and easily removable.

Trimmed the button down, as before, similar position, trimmed just under 1mm off the corner of the PSone screen edge; just as before.

As you see, lots of wires so far, more to follow - lots of connections. I also need to wire up the tact switches and start and select buttons too. More wiring!

Next job - fit the d-pad; the then PSone screen mobo needs "trimming".
