I created a MySpace (gah, whenever I start typing that I begin to type MySQL) account for one reason and one reason only: to send my former-future-roommate (this was back in August, before I actually met my roommate) a message and introduce myself. I do not have any kind of profile or anything like that, though. I don't even remember the last time I actually used it.

During my brief stay at Appstate University I learned of a myspace alternative being adopted by a great many colleges nationwide. I don't remember what it was called, and I never actually went so far as even giving a passing thought to maybe going to their website (or the myspace site, for that matter), but I heard it was pretty neat. You didn't have ads or weird errors, and only college students and professors (gasp) could join, so no losers.
Then I went crazy and had to leave the university
