Graphics and processor architecure are two different things. I know computers today use either a 32bit or 64bit design. Consoles are all about graphics thats why their adverticed as what ever their graphics output.
I'd also like to know how I am wrong? The Xbox is 3 years old, I doubt it and I am wrong prove it that we had 256bit graphic processors and engines.

Ok heres something to look at too. As for the 256 bit gpu, I never heard Microsoft say anything about that..

Well you know, that's pretty much what I just said, isn't it? Turns out I was wrong about the sh-4, it's actually a hybrid- it uses 16 bit instructions, 32 bit memory addressing, has a 64 bit data bus, and a 128 bit floating point bus. And I think they're wrong, I'm pretty sure the Emotion Engine is considered a 128 bit processor.Sparkfist wrote:Ok heres something to look at too. As for the 256 bit gpu, I'm pretty sure the xbox uses a geforce 3, and the geforce 3 is a 256 bit gpu. http://reviews-zdnet.com.com/Microsoft_ ... 53769.html agrees.

Dude! NVIDI IS THE MAKER OF THE GPU! And by the way, just because some site that's trying to sell me a "175" Big TV for DreamCast" says the systems are 128-bit doesn't mean it is so. There are a few things in that "article" that I could probably point out as wrong, but I don't feel like it right now.Sparkfist wrote:Ok heres something to look at too. I really don't see how winning an arguement makes me retarded. You posted something that was untrue claiming that it was fact, and I proved it was wrong. Several times.JackFrost22 wrote:To qoute a great man. Aurguing over the internet is like the special olypics. Even if you win your still retarded.

Hey the only people retarded are the ones that keep arguing! Overall you can rate a system by its gpu or its cpu, it dosn't really matter. Though maybe it would be better to start saying "the Xbox has a 128 bit GPU" rather than "the Xbox is a 128 bit machine". This way there wont be any dissagreements.
Just dont let this elevate into a "political" type argument.
