how do you get DVD's onto a psp?

hey everyone, i guess the subject is the question..... how do i covert DVD videos to MPEG4 or mp4 or whatever the PSP supports?

copy with your PC and use that old psp soft ware (i dont even know if it exists but im sure you have some thing with that game you bought) your going to have to compress or convert it to what ever the PSp uses. then your done. yay!

im sure there is some wares. if you search around the sony wesite.
http://www.memorystick.com/en/lifestyle ... index.html it might be a good idea, do you have a PSP? and if you look about there are free encoders all over the place, but remember with a psp the mem sticks arent vary big most of the time so dont expect to get the loard of the rings going on it right away with out the 1-gig stick. (GO GBAMP)

Ripping DVD's are in the gray area in the USA. In this time of posting, in Canada, you can rip, but this is going to change to reflect the DMCA.

Well,they don't give us much of a choice.Do you see any Star Wars Psp movies?NO!Yu-gi-oh?NO!Lord of the Rings?NO!X-men?NO!Jurassic Park?NO!

So if you want to see anythig good,you have to do it yourself.

still not lock, i have yet to have found a good umm.. manual on how to do it, what you guys are saying are stuff i dont understand, and im an idot for that, yes, but i wanna get my scarface DVD on my 6GB memory stick so i can watch it on my psp during the plane ride to russia.
