It's too bad there's no easy way to find "NOAC's"

Then it would be worth it to make some PCB's with the power regulator, crystals, shift registers, etc and plop the NOAC on it. With a cartridge slot.

I still say someone should make an Atari 800 Laptop. (I'm drawing up plans for a TI 99/4a laptop

. Probably won't build one in the near future, not until I can get a spare. I actually have 2, but 1 makes garbled-up shiznit on the screen

Congrats on your new portable Mr. Heckendorn, really cool and the size is jaw dropping. You've really outdone your self. If I may give a 'tip' if you will, bulk order from a Chinese, or rather an Asian Electronics merchant, who carries these Power Players. (About the Chinese thing, sorry if this brings up racism)

Great idea, but I'm not sure if that's feasible. If it ever worked out I would definitely buy a few.

You can buy Power Players by the 20 from people on ioffer.com for 260 shipped (13 each). Prices may change, thats what I saw months ago.
