i like all of them, but ever since nintendo started "inovating" with touch screens and remote controllers, i stopped being a nintendo fanboy and now i like sony better. i especially like the huge selection and variety of 3rd party games for it. i don't want a new way to control the game because normal controls work just fine. sony kinda messed up there (not as bad as nintendo though) with PS3 controller, but it's just a prototype. i'm sure 3rd parties will come up with better designs if sony doesn't. as for the price, i would rather wait longer for the price of PS3 to fall than hurry to buy a revolution that i won't play.

same here. sony had too change the controller because what happen. for those who did not know this tech school took them to court and sewed them for about $100,000,000 because they stoled their rumble thing idea for the controller. they almost had to stop selling the games like gta san andreas and gt4.

Well then what's stopping them from making classic Playstation controllers without the rumble feature? :?

@ lawsuit over motor with counterbalance on it: that's retarded. It's also in other controllers and some Gameboy carts, too... Did the students patent it? If not, then Sony can do whatever they damn well please with the idea, right? :?

well it is only the type that is in the playstation and xbox. they told sony and microsoft to pay $30,000,000 or they will sew. microsoft did but sony didn't. for some reason they made them use a different design.

kade is the calssic fanboy i think, no matyter what arguments we pose he is still "sony is better nintendo is gay and sucks" the only reason the ps2 has any good games is the law of averages! ther are hundreds of games for pst and a fraction of those are actually good, the cube had way less games but more of them are quality (not all of them by far but more) and if anyone thionkgs the psp is the king of the handhelds you will get a lot of argument outta me thats for sure!

Can't we all just get along? :P

I must agree with the comment that Nintendo's "innovating" is a rather bad idea. Game developers are still trying to figure out what to do with those two DS screens, and now they have to worry about the crazy Revolution controllers.

I remember when I was not but a small (ok, big and fat) lad back in the day. I remember gleefully shredding the christmass wrapping off of the coveted GBO, the awesome clear model. That thing stuck with me for years. I played my *VERY FIRST* RPG on the thing (Pokemon Blue- good times...) for christ's sake! Now, after (counts on fingers) eight years of ownership, that GBO is still sitting on my dresser....wherever my dresser ran off to. I'm perfectly confident that, after eight years of being dropped, being stepped on, and being tossed out of a bus window, that GBO will still turn on and play like it did in the beginning if I only put some new batteries in it.

Moral of the story? Nintendo made a BIG win by going the simple route. The designed a simple, easy to manufacturer, and inexpensive handheld. With that strategy, they defeated the FAR technologically superior GameGear, and now the GameBoy line is still arguably the best. "Innovation" of basic gameplay mechanics did not win that war for them, so why do they choose that path now?

As for what I'm going to buy...well, nothing. I have my computer for gaming at home. When Nintendo releases the next TRUE gameboy, that is what I will spend my hard-stolen cash on...maybe.

I am done ranting now :?

Kade, I do not particularly like the newer gameboy hardware either. The original Gameboy, however, was truly revolutionary for its time, and deserves to be payed homage.

"the psp is better than the gb"

Well, that is what we like to call and 'opinion.' An 'opinion' is "A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof"

So, logically speaking, you are incorrect. Please just take note that what you say is not fact, and thus it cannot be proven or forced upon anyone with any certainty.
