Yeah, buy the disc from Nintendo. They sell them on their website.

you could mod your cube, and burn the boot disk, or stream the boot disk through PSO and the BBA.

Sorry to revive this thread, but does anyone here know if a PAL GameBoy Player would work with a NTSC GameCube? if it works do I only need an NTSC Disk or would I need a freeloader or something like that?, ythanks in advance.

Well the GBA hardware is universal, and the bottom of the cubes are all the same. I'm pretty sure that it would work, but you'd need the USA boot disc, or a freeloader and PAL boot disc.

That would be my guess as well. I see no reason for them to change the hardware, since you need the correct boot disk anyway.

BTW, the GBplayer kicks ass. I dont use mine that often, but its still a great piece to have. It finally turns the gamecube into an actual cube :D. I didnt realise what a badass eject mechanism it had until i bought one. That was one reason i passed over it when it was first released, i thought it would be a pain to change the carts.

I have a Gameboy player, and I didn't know about that eject mechanism until you just said that! I can't believe it! I've been stupid and just yanking the cart out.

Geez. Maybe I should've read that manual.... nah..

haha, better late than never i suppose :D
When i first saw them for sale, i thought "man, that would be a pain trying to get the cart out. It looks like it sits pretty flush". A while later i was using my SNES gameboy player and wishing it supported GBColor games. Then i remembered the Gamecube one. Glad i bought it.
