I dont know how many of you might have that but if you dont it means you might not think its a bad thing. And admitting to an addiction isnt something many people live up to.

Anyways back to the desision thing. I'm not a fan of the whole age prohibition thing where once you are that age your old enough to know or handle it. But if you dont demonstrate your reponsablity is knowing when to say no (before the first drink or when offered the sixth). Thats my take on it.
well the age thing isnt because your not mature enough to drink its that they dont want you to hurt your body before its fully grown, thats why you have to be 21

uh, dead wrong. if there were any medical basis for the age limit, then the drinking age wouldn't be so low in europe.
the drinking age here is pure politics.

Ok before this becomes a policical thing. Europeans have drunk wine and other alcohole for a long time its a normal thing there thats why they dont have issues with a younger groupe drinking. Here its 21 after being 18, it is also a combination of politics and social morality.

Now lest let this die before one of the mods is forced to close the thread.

Honestly... I hope you get knocked out by your parents.... seriously. I have been blessed with the great parents I have.. They explain to me everything pro's/con's ect ect. And then it is up to me for my choice. At 14 is this your first time drinking? Also I belive choices are ultimatly up to you. Depending on what it is I would say who choices for myself... like drinking ect ect. I am 16 and I still talk to my parents about when I drink and stuff...

I take back what I said about you drinking, I hope you throw up a crap and/or have a big dirty hangover. Then you will understand why they didnt want you drinking. Although I am glad you brought it up with them.

Remember to piss a lot and drink water (beer dehydrates you)(alcohol for that matter does)

Also I hope you realise that some of the posts here are rediculously retarded like filtering alcohol gives you a hangover? wrong assbag. Your liver filters the alcohol. and the hangover is from dehydration. Even I am not sure about all of this information. So check around and find out about it yourself. Dont pretend to know what you dont.

Also what were the results of drinking?

When are you old enough to make your own decisions? When you not only see when something is a bad choice, but when you also don't do it 8)
