Homebrew games

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Is this what I need to start making dreamcast games?
I've gotten bored with my RPG maker and am looking towards trying something a lot more difficult while i finish up my SNESp.

If I do figure out what I need and hopefully create a succesful game I will be sure to send a copy, probably won't be for a long time though.

Yes. List of homebrew ported FPS on DC, last I checked:
Wolfenstein 3D
Doom (Doom engine, you can play Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom on it)
Quake
Quake 2
Duke Nukem 3D
Rise of the Triad

Also don't forget the commercial releases of Unreal Tournament and Quake 3.

It's been so long since I've even tried dev'ing on the DC, that I can't make any recommendations on what tools to use.
