if the red power led has come on, then can it still be fried? i took the video and audio thing out so i cant really test it.

connect it to the screen as is the Cart port still in, test with a working game that you didnt have much trouble getting going

the cartridge port isnt in the board and i sodered 48 wires into the holes that cartridge port is supposed to be in so i can reposition it, so there really isnt a way i can test it besides that red light.

the EXP port is the number 1 cause of frying i would sugest mooses method
cuplers and ribbon cables

you take a coupler that will allow the ribbon cable to connect to the n64 board and it can be done with out removing the EXP port you stick the coupler into the controller port holes
