NESp Money making idea.

Post by nobody2000 »

I bet that someone with the tools could make some decent cash manufacturing famicom sized (or there abouts) NES carts within the portablizing community. Think about it...you charge something like 25 cents a mini cart, and sell packages of them with or without the tool, and hell, throw in a sheet of Laser labels for them. Such a project would take some skill and planning, but I'm sure a lot would appreciate the portability of reduced size games.

Oh this hasn't been thought of before...

Pretty much it's a case of "who has the start up money" and "who has the time"...

Ya just repeated everything we said. Very nice. I'll consider it a summation or more, an omage!

Cybernetic ghost of christmas past from the future!

And btw I was thinking of doing this, but then figured the money I would make off of it wouldn't even cover the initial investment.

it's not worth the money, but you could make a negative mold out of plaster place the board in there and cover it with that two-part hobby plastic, molding your own "cart".

or just live with a naked board and build a covered area to protect it.

as for a business, I don't think anybody's willing to spend MORE money on Dr. Mario than they already have...

You wouldn't be able to make one size for all anyways, because the cart internals weren't all the same size.
