will making a PSp be possible

Ok, for staters if your going to use the original large Playstation get the last model. Reason being that they use only (I believe) 8v and 3.3v, a simple forum search can conform voltages. Also the last model mobo is roughly the same size as the PSOne (a little taller and thiner).

The Disc drive is the same as the PSOne, small!

The key reason why everyone here suggest getting a PSOne is that it uses a single volatage input. This makes it easier on you as you dont have to go out and make or buy a dc-dc converter circuit.
