it's very possible but the disk drive is bigger than psone disk drive. it takes 2 different voltages but the mobo is about the same size i've heard

i dont know, some of the connections are different in the psx than the psone, but if you know the inside of a psx well you shouldnt have a problem,

The pinouts different, but composite out is composite out, maybe its an inch to the right or and inch to the left...

You can make a PSp with a PSX yeah, but it may either be bigger or harder, my recommandiation to just buy a PSone, they should be cheap.

The PSX has an 80% difficulty rating versus the PS1's 60% rating.

It will defionitly be bigger. Im pretty sure it has different voltage. I think the mobo is also bigger.
