please people, this is my first portable and my parents are pissed on spending 160 bucks for this. I really need to get through. If you people can find the heart to help me tHANKS A LOT VERY LOT. by the way, I KNOW THERE S A NOMAD, im just using this as a starter into my world of portabalizing. thanks guys

well, i assume the lcd has composite out correct? well then you just need to find out the pinout of the genisis! easy as that! there should be pins for audio left and right luma chroma and video and a video and audio ground and thats it i think? im not sure, just look up "genisis AV pinouts" on the search of this forum, or google it. or go to doomportables

it is a SEga genesis 1, the lcd is a lcd from www.i-mcm.com (item number 60-9855), and I dont need audio cause i have headphone, and I kinda just wanna run it of that. So now saying that, how do I plug it in again.

also to connect the pins, what wire do i need, and well how do i connect it, im sorry that im being snobbish, but im under a lot of stress, what with my quantam psychics exam coming, nevertheless, I AM A NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB. (notice the extreme o's)

you know, you should really be a bit more patient...
anyway, to connect the genesis to the LCD, first wire pin 2 to the video input pin on the lcd controller board...then, wire pin 4 (ground) to the "gnd" (or ground) pin on the lcd controller board...for power, simply have the positive end of a 12v battery to the 12v pin on the lcd board, and then the negative end of the battery to ground on the lcd board...
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
