Can I make a protable game?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

The DS and the N64 aren't really all that a like in hardware, and you can't just wire pins from the N64 cart to the DS cart and get it to run. You could get a TV adapter for GBA SP and hook up a N64 running on batteries to that. That's the only practical option I can come up with.

Someone is posessed! His post count is 666!

The only way you could do this without carrying an N64 around with you, is if you somehow got an emulator and some roms onto a cart and got them to run on the DS, but even then you would have to write the emulator from scratch, and program it in a way that the DS could read.

I cant see a DS running an N64 emulator at any half-decent speed.

isn't N64 about 30mhz faster than DS :? . it wouldn't be very fast at all and probably wouldn't work

Whats the clock speed of the N64? Maybe they'll come out with something for the PSP (everything else is out)

I believe it's 93.75mhz....
Edit: or maybe it's 97mhz!!!
:P
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Guys, what if you get that movie player for ds, upload a emulator and a game into the flash card?

The movie player's built-in software probably only reads video formats, and can't translate software.

I imagine CF is much to slow to keep up with the N64 rom, considering NES games on it were uploaded to virtual memory when played, thus the size limit.

heh maybe someone (lol) will find a way to overclock the DS as they did for the N64, if the problem is heat, well the DS could certainly stand to be a little warmer as it freezes my hands
