Hip Gear screens risky from this point forward

For my use I dont mind having a fan behind the screen but for a portable it would suck.

I tried what I was on about earlier and wired up the red and yellow wires from the molex to the screen to give me 7v, my power cable protection kicked in and shut down my xbox... guess I need to test with a multimeter to ensure it is giving me 7v.

Just hope my screen is ok, should be only knocked off the mains power to the xbox.
