How do you get the nes to fit in a 6x4 case? Isn't a NES board 7.5x6 or something like that? :?
And then the first human typed up '1337'. Faith in humanity soon plummited.

He probably cut it down. And gib0r, MM007(who still hasn't sent the Atari bootdisk) is right.

....

Of course he's right. He has almost 700 posts.

In which case, I'll edit my original post a bit to appease the "senior membersâ€

I have to agree with gib0r when it comes to the Dremel and Hot Glue. Unless you are very skilled its kinda hard toget good looking results. I found that covering your mess is easier than not making them.

Thank you.

As for a more "positive" suggestion.... Invest in precision files, drill bits, pcb stand offs, zip ties, and shrink tubing. They'll make your life easier, and your product cleaner.

I simply didn't agree with saying never ever use it again.

Now those suggestions as to what to invest in is appropriate, as it can be helpful to a new poster. Thank you.

I didn't even use a Dremel. :P I used a pocket knife, some cheap exacto knives, and a small hand saw.

I'm not really concerned about it looking really clean and nice. I just want it to be functional. Plus, all that other stuff would be too complicated....

Got a few problems

Post by james7467 »

I am building the portable NES by hand in bens book I put it all together last night.
today when I tested it out the control pads didnt' work I fixed that had to look at pics in the book to see where I missed solder connections,
well anyway Igot picture on the screen sound every thing worked great.
I bupassed the part on the PSOne screen when I built it and din't like how bright it was so I disconnected the wire and tested it out.
No picture but sound, so I reconnected it. Same problem I'm getting sound but no pic looked at all my video connections. None were disconnected. I don't know what to do. HELP!!!

Make sure you don't have any nasty little solder bridges, and check your connections with a multimeter.
