There needs to be another videogame store chain!
I have to say im dissapointed at gamestop and ebgames lately. I think there should be another video game store chain around. I am dissapointed becuase gamestop does not carry nes or dreamcast or anything that is older than n64 but they sell the games for those systems. I wanted to trade in my n64 and get a dreamcast but they dont even carry dreamcast. As for ebgames they are just really small (at least in my mall they are) and are really cluttered and crowded all the time. I want to get a dreamcast and I dont want to buy it on the internet maybe ebgames carries them I doubt it but ill check anyways. If another video game store opened up i am sure that they would do well financialy and give the other stores some competition.

There's a small chain slowly growing around Missouri, probably wil start to go into nearby states soon, called Game-X-Change that deals with pretty much every console. You can even buy Atari 2600 games and consoles.
Also, you might hit up your local Blockbuster Video they now have a small sub-store that deals with video games in most of them now. Dreamcasts pop up every now and then, at least in my local ones, and you can trade in a N64.

Really? I like in Missouri and I haven't seen one... I know theirs a Slacker's CD's and games in Jefferson City (But they overcharge on some stuff). Where I use to live in GA there was a Game-X-Change. It was pretty popular. Do you live in Missouri or something and if yes where...
Dude, it's Duck Hunt.
In the UK we have "gamestation" and they kick ass!
They sell so many consoles, Atari's, NES, Snes, Some old ones ive never seen.
They sell these http://www.bandai-asia.com/wonderswan/
Sega master systems 1&2, Mega drive(genesis), spectrum.
And this thing that looks like a screen but more like LEDS or something with controls built into the base, i dunno what it is but it looks cool
They sell sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many games too!

I've seen them mostly in the KC area. The closest one to you(pending you live in Jeff. City), that I know of, would be the one here in Sedalia (where I live). map to Game X-ChangeNes Man wrote:Really? I like in Missouri and I haven't seen one... Their website I don't know why they don't list the Sedalia or other locations on their website (I'm pretty sure both Blue Springs and Independence have one as well).
There are a lot of smaller game places scattered around Missouri, when I was visiting Springfield, MO there were 3 video game places that I had never heard of before.
Yeah, if you can locate a blockbuster "Gamerush" (www.gamerush.com), you can grab a DC for $9.99, assuming someone traded one in. This includes all cables and at least one controller.
Well I go to the sub store of Hollywood Video called "Game Crazy". They carry everything from the NES up, no atari, or anything older then the NES tho. They are the best place I've been, cause they let you try out anygame you want, new or used at the store before you buy, or if you buy.
Current Status: Single and Portableless.
