Post by NeoGeo »

I know that i'm probably just being lazy to search but I cant find a good detailed gide to an n64p(besides the gide that has that HUGE N64p) also doomportables isn't working on my computer so that is out of the question  thanks!

www.doomportables.tk  whoops. Sorry. Fixed the typo. It's OK now.

Sorry, I don't think anyone has made a detailed explination on how to build an n64p. All I know is:

-cartridge slot is a pain
-Retarded Nintendo screws EVERYWHERE
-the boards fry easily.

If this is your first project, try going for something less ambitious, like a PSoneP or a game-on-a-chip portable. (Unless you think you're up to the task )

Good luck with it! :)

(Is there an n64 section in the book?) :?

You fixed the typo, it is www.doomportables.tk

RPGTKNick's isn't bad. Combined with some others, you can get everything you need to know.

No section in the book.

I know that you are new, but please use the search next time. This forum costs Ben hundreds in bandwidth charges, and every new thread means more wasted bandwidth. In the amount of time it takes to post a thread, you can hit search, and scan 3 threads to get the info. There are a few hundred with that question now. It isn't your computer, it is abbibi's crappy domain registration site that spends 4 months to register the domain.

Its called doomportables. I asked gannon if I could help admin, and if I become an admin, I'll probably add a few guides and stuff, make it more "megasite" you could say.

yeah, the megasite could just as easily be eliminated in favor of upgrading doomportables on a massive level. i love doom, its the best source online except these forums. but its got one or two small things thatcould improve. what we really need is a huge effort from all available people to make doom the "best that it can be!" i am likeing the idea of upgrading doom more and more as i think about it. we already have a very solid base to work from, just update its image and content and (way i figure it we could easily quadruple the actual ammount of info on doom and make it more organized! i keep saying it but it has to be more organized! professional look or go home, no more amatureish crud like my old site! i dont know why i am obsessing aobut its need to look all por and stuff i just cant help it! im sorry also for rambling but i cant help that either. :D
its too bad you dont have AIM or somthing HK, we could talk more about this on ai or msn!

yea, it itsnt the most perfect fit, but it grips the screw head jsut fine, just apply a small pressure to it and itl grip, least from my experience, used it to open up my last 9 n64 consoles
