why not just install new BIOS in the first one and pay homebrew stuff off the hdd or just get a new disk drive for it

he could soft mod it then he could play stuff off the hdd without opening the console
edit: he would of course need a working disk drive to do that wouldint he nevermind

Incidentally, I was born on 4/13...Friday.
And I'm so happy that we have some one named Punchinello on the forums. No reason, really, I just like seeing old, obscure video game characters still alive. Now if only there was some one named Bubsy...

I guess I'm the youngest here, weighing in at 9 years. I'm actually fairly close in age to quite a few people here, which is incredibly odd. My birthday is 6/24/1995. Anybody else have the same date?
