east sides the crack head party... no joke the marijuana party is just a pile of guys going hey your not doing any thing to control alcohal and thats much worse for the folks you repersent. then they argue that pot sould be legal because of its lach of distinct helth hazrds and the percent of aproval of the counrty, not realy a local political thing.. I vote NDP and yes on STV. the media hates the idea of the stv because there wont be an eazy way to cover the elections (im seroius) the STV means that instead of saying yes i want only soand so ill take 4 votes on candiate A and 3 on B and none on C or how ever they rank there ridings. I think this is going to be more impartial and will diminish political partys so there are more indepenants holding opostion seats with out idoligc biast...

i think in this console run Nintendo is making a contempary move mrket wise (esthics and such) but still beable to give there ddevlopers new and difrent ways to interact in games.

The Marijuana Party is just a drug party, but in a way, I believe that it should be legalized. When prohibition was brought in during the 30s, more people started drinking, because it became taboo. I think that if pot is legalized, the rebel appeal will wear off, and the problem will decrease. I agree with most of the NDP plans, and the Green Party had some great plans, especially for education. After watching Carol James in the May 3(?) debate, I was pretty mad, because she was extremely rude. I don't want Campbell though, because even though he was a good MLA, he was a terrible premier. Common! Drinking-&-Driving in another country! I think that the STV is good for BC.

BTW: NDP just won Victoria-Hillside and Victoria-Beacon Hill. NDP was going up, but just started losing ground. Liberals still have 13 seats over the NDP though, as of now.

I think the PS3 is gonna blow away both the Revolution and the xbox 360. The hardware for the PS3 is much better then both the 360 and the revolution. The PS3 has a 7 cell 3.2 GHz CPU and a Nvidia GPU with more power than 2 6800 SLI's put together. Sure, the controller is (arguably) a disaster but A) its just alpha hardware and there's absolutly no guarentee that it will be the final controller and B) since the PS3 comes with built in WiFi, 6 USB ports and bluetooth, who says you have to use sony's controller? As for games, the PS3 will be backwards compatible with PS2 and PS1 titles. While this is nothing comapred to the backward compatibility of the Revolution, you still have to go download the games onto the revolution and have store on the SD card. You almost definatly will have to pay for downloading these games whereas with the PS3 you can just put in your old PS2 and PS1 games. As to the 360: I think the PS3 is gonna kick the xbox 360's arse in terms of gameplay for two reasons. First, Microsoft really isn't trying to go after gamers anymore. For example, they had their unveiling before E3, on MTV. They also said how the xbox 360 will be your personal media hub and connect to other devices etc. They're really trying to take the emphisis off gaming. Second, (and anyone that saw the sony press confrence will agree with me) the gameplay + graphics on the tech demos they had at the confrence were absolutly, jaw dropping AMAZING! Plus, they proved that it wasn't pre render by pausing one of the games and rotating the camera. Also, the PS3 is going to have to equivelant of xbox live! but with full privilages or whatever without having to pay.

Very interesting. Also, did everyone see the report on how much the PS3 could cost? Upwards of $450. Ouch!

after watching ingame action and the presentations of the PS3 and Xbox 360, I'm thinking the PS3 will come out on top between those 2. I'm really looking forward to the revolution though. damn zelda and it's addictions....
Anyways, being a small formfactor makes it that much easier to make into a portable ;)
