Nice start to your project! Keep working on it, and keep us informed.

What are your planned dimensions?

Here are the dimensions of the alluminum case I'll be using for the project: 13" x 10.25" x 5.13". It should arrive sometime this week :)

Thanks for all the positive feedback :)

What are you using to line the case to prevent shorting? That hobby foam works well...

I'll have to see what the inside of the case is like when it arrives. I'm still thinking about how to mount the boards in the case as well. I'll check out the hobby foam, I have never heard of it before.

For mounting the boards (the N64 board anyway), you can dremel out the screw posts from the original case and hot glue them in the proper places in your case.

Also, that would likely lift the board off the bottom of the case.

Made a cable to bring power to the monitor and also wired up rca jacks to the n64.

Got lots of work done on the project. Here's some pictures of what I've got done. I used PL Premium construction adhesive to mount the monitor into the case which I sanded down before gluing. Also drilled some holes in the n64 case for the RCA jacks and DC supply jack for the screen.
