 Yep. Sure seems that way. Sorry, I was a bit tired last night. It was late, so I sounded a bit rude. :P

Hi, my name is Nelson. How may I help you?
Unknown: I need to know something. http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSH ... me=feature This page, it says the battery's rated for 6800 mAh. That can't be right.
Unknown: I contacted sony a different time, about this battery: http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSH ... mBatteries
Unknown: It was stated that there was an extra 0 on the page.
Unknown: I assume it is the same for this one as well?
Nelson: Please give me a moment.
Nelson: Both are different batteries.
Unknown: What? I think we're having a misunderstanding.
Nelson: The first page is for the NP-FA50 InfoLithium A Series Rechargeable Battery Pack and the second one is for the NP-FA70 InfoLithium A Series Rechargeable Battery Pack.
Unknown: The second link I gave you, is a battery that I contacted Sony about a few days ago. It said it was rated at 12200 mAh. But Sony said it was a misprint, and it's actually 1220 mAh. The first link IS a different battery, but it says it's rated for 6800 mAh. That seems too high. Just like the other one did.
Unknown: So, I'm asking you if it's actually 680 mAh.
Nelson: It may be a site error.
Nelson: Please give me a moment to get this information for you.
Unknown: It is.
Nelson: Yes. It is 680mAh.
Unknown: Heh heh. That's what I thought.
Unknown: One more thing, tell me how to contact the webmaster to get that fixed.
Unknown: It's throwing people off.
Nelson: I will forward these information to the concerned department.
Unknown: That's what the last person said. Please make sure you do so.
Unknown: Thank you, goodbye.
Nelson: Thank you for visiting SonyStyle.com. Please feel free to contact us for further assistance.
Nelson: disconnected

Bah. I was affraid you'd think that. No, I swear, that was them. I'll forward the e-mail with the chat log in it that they sent me to anyone that doesn't believe me. I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong, and I don't make up lies just for the fun of it. I'm an honest person. Besides, I don't have the time to make up something that long. Especially when it doesn't gain me anything.

Pretty sad. They advertise their batteries times 10. Odds are that both errors will still be there in a month.

Oh, yeah. For sure. Next time they overhaul the site will be when they fix it.

I just got a 7.2v 5400 mAh li-ion portable DVD battery at Wal*Mart for $50. Hopefully it was a good investment, it came with all the cables, and is has the charger in the bettery. It is kinda is big tho, 6 x 3.5 x .8 inches.

Charger in the battery?

LOL. I just checked the Sony site, and those 2 are still listed wrong. What MORONS!

So, 2 morons on a bridge. A big one, and a little one. Which one falls off first?

The big one, because the other one's a little-more-on :D .

But doesn't "a little more on" mean a little more on the bridge? Which means that the big one is closer to the edge. So wouldn't he fall first? 8)

Yeah, so that battery I got wasn't good, apparently it fried my PS1 display as seeing that it no longer turns on with the power supply.

If it is 7.2V, you obviously screwed something up.

Actually when I checked the battery it was outputing over 25 volts. Then slowly dropped and leveled out at 9.5. That certainly isn't the advertized 7.2.
