AA battery holder for N64

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

AA battery holder for N64

I am in the process of making a N64 handheld and was wondering if this would be ok to use. It adds up to 9v (I think)

it would be, but you would get very little playtime out of it, before having to change batteries. In other words, find a different solution.

I also believe the power draw of the N64 is too much for AAs to handle. Best option would be either lithium ion batteries, or sub-C NiMH cells.

AA batteries are quite heavy too.
